This was the first kit I had done in decades and was very disappointed in the fit and detail. It was also the first time I used an airbrush and it showed. It was a good practice kit for weathering and I collected a lot of knowledge that will help me immeasurably going forward.

Just finished this kit. Having built the 1977 version before it, I didn't notice any changes other than the decals - and I didn't even use them! There are several issues, but for me the main problems are the nose wheel well (open in the front and top) the antiquated pylons, and raised panel lines. But, like I said about the earlier version, it looks like an A-10 to me. Plus, I'm down one more kit in my stash! Will build Hobby Boss' A-10 next and I think I'll be done with A-10s probably forever. This dated kit really needs to be retired. Easy to build but not recommended - not even close to state of the art anymore.
